Want to bring a show to the Chapel Playhouse?
The Chapel Playhouse programs theatre, comedy, cabaret and more! We are looking for exciting, diverse, innovative shows and projects with manageable technical requirements and a suitability for our space.
What we offer:
- box office splits (with only a very small reserve)
- online, phone & on the door box office
- marketing via our website, social media & print materials
- stage & technicals equipment including lights, ighting desk & sound system (further details below)
- Saturday & Sunday - Full technical set-up and stage available with adequate time to tech and possibility of several matinée and evening performances - Best suited to theatre productions. (Runs on this slot over several weeks can also be considered, but please note that the space might be shared with other companies and any set-up will have to be taken down every week, with no space available to store large set pieces.)
- Friday night - Full technical set-up and stage available but very limited to get-in. Best suited to cabaret, pop-up theatre shows and the like.
- Thursday night - Limited technical set-up available and very limited time to get-in. Best suited to stand-up comedy, readings, podcasts, radio-plays and the like.
- Thrust Stage (audience on three sides), 3 x 4 metres
- A combination of LED lights on two lighting stands
- Programmable, high standard lighting desk
- Black curtains behind the stage and auditorium & a flat to create an off-stage area next to the stage
- Projector with HDMI connection or Blue Ray & screen
- PA system and 2 microphones
- Dressing room and toilet facilities (but with no direct access to the stage)
